Chapter 10: Midnight Marble

You may remember from last year, this is always a challenge for me whenever Inktober approaches. The plan is to have a beautiful theme with art supplies that we can all enjoy using for Inktober, but without ending up with a box full of black pens and nothing else (because that's just boring!) 

Last year, we went for lovely granulating paints, with black pigment separating beautifully from the magenta, green and purple paints. This year our theme is a combination: a blend of elegant blue and velvety grey tones to make up marbled textures, like the surface of the moon! Alongside some heavy separating moody paint to achieve that high contrast between stormy and gentle moods of the night. We will also be trying out some handmade sketching paper - perfect for Inktober!
