In conjunction with Earth Day (which falls on April 22), this March/April box will be celebrating the wonders of the natural world and the need to preserve the gifts it has given to us! Specifically, the natural world under our oceans, filled with rich biodiversity - fish, invertebrates, plants, sea turtles, birds, and marine mammals, all of whom depend on the health of our coral reefs. Did you know scientists have found that the deepest point in the world's oceans, the Mariana Trench, is teeming with life, even at a pressure that's 1100 times greater than at the surface? This month's box will celebrate the richness of our underwater rainforests; bright warm red and orange and yellow against the dark blue-black oceans, with a distant, piercing ray of light.
